The Research Cooperative Four kinds of sponsorship are recognised below. So far (up until November 2001), there has been little active attempt to attract sponsors, but offers would be welcome - please contact Dr Peter Matthews (pjm@gol.com). For more background, see History of the Research Cooperative.

    Kinds of sponsorship

    1. Link sponsor. A sponsor can be another website that has included a link to this site, at the request of Research Co-op. In return, Research Co-op can provide a link to the sponsoring site, if this is wanted.

    2. Academic sponsor. This can be a university or other tertiary-education organisation, a research department or institute, an academic society, an academic journal, or a government organisation. The sponsorship can be any kind of written recommendation of this site, to affiliated students, teachers and researchers, or in open-access media.

    3. Industry sponsor. Professional or media organisations that support academic or scientific editors, writers and publishers may also wish to be sponsors. The sponsorship can be any kind of written recommendation of this site to members of the organisation.

    4. Financial sponsor. In the future, if this service appears to useful, and there is demand for it to be continued, it will be necessary to obtain financial support. Expressions of interest from any publically-minded individuals or organisations are welcome at any time.
